Helen George

Helen George is a television, film and stage actress best known for starring as Trixie Franklin in the BBC’s BAFTA award-winning series Call The Midwife. Helen trained at both the Birmingham School of Acting (now Royal Birmingham Conservatoire) and the Royal Academy of Music (an institution with which she is now an Associate).

Her further television credits include: Red Dwarf for Dave, Over to Bill for BBC One, Dark Matters for Discovery, and reached the semi-finals of the BBC’s hit show Strictly Come Dancing; her film credits include Paul W. S. Anderson’s The Three Musketeers and Nativity Rocks. Helen features on the album for Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Cinderella, has performed at the Royal Albert Hall for the Queen’s 90th birthday and at Buckingham Palace for the VE Day celebrations. She is also a patron for ICP Support.
